Sensational Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay, took BNXN (Buju) off his record ‘Hallelujah,” and that verse has surfaced online.
The singer-songwriter took off BNXN‘s verse on the song after he asked to be “excused.”
The Magicsticks-produced collaboration with rapper Blaqbonez is no doubt one of the most exciting collaborations to be released in 2023, and it recently became the number-one song on Apple Music Nigeria, but apparently, the song should have had more features.
Several weeks after the collaboration dropped, CKay needed to make it public that BNXN and street-hop act Seyi Vibez were supposed to be featured on the record alongside Blaqbonez. He pointed out that BNXN asked to be “excused” from the record after he heard Blaqbonez‘s verse, a wish that Kay simply granted.
In an update on the event, the said verse, which was taken off, has surfaced on the internet, and the fans have reacted with mixed feelings.
