A video showing the moment Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State announced a monetary reward for an outstanding student of the Obafemi Awolowo University has surfaced.
Recall that Joy Oyinlola Adesina had emerged as the Best Graduating Student from the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife.
Rewarding her brilliance, Governor Abiodun announced that she will receive a house, N5m, and a scholarship for further studies.
Abiodun announced the rewards at the reception organized in honour of Miss Adesina, on Wednesday.
The governor noted that the awardee by being the best medical graduate to have come out of the OAU is “an accomplishment, a rare feat that most of her peers can only dream of.”
