Popular Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy becomes the second Nigerian after Wizkid to be awarded a BRIT plaque for surpassing one billion streams in the UK.
The ‘Last Last’ hitmaker was awarded a coveted BRIT plaque at his sold-out show at the London Stadium on Saturday, June 29 in recognition of impeccable achievement.
However, the self-proclaimed African Giant expressed his disappointment as he noted that it was a stale recognition as he surpassed the milestone over two years ago.
He said:
“What I want to know is why I’m getting this? Why not add all of them together; a bigger one. This was two years ago; nawa for una o. You people should update but I appreciate it.”
