Twitter users in Nigeria are expressing disapproval of the RCCG church’s Twitter account for swiftly removing a video they posted featuring a prophecy from Daddy G.O. Pastor Adeboye.
In the video, Pastor Adeboye, a well-known and affluent Nigerian pastor, delivers a prophecy stating that all members, coworkers, friends, and family affiliated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will approach them for food and refreshments in 2024.
The video, shared by the RCCG church’s Twitter account, generated a significant online response, with many Nigerians criticizing the church for promptly deleting the video.
Pastor Adeboye, in the prophetic message, not only prayed for his church members but also expressed the hope that they would become the primary sources of assistance for their families, serving as the go-to individuals for support.
As a result, Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG find themselves at the center of internet scrutiny and backlash.
