Ghanaian media star Afua Asantewaa Aduonum plans to break a Guinness World Record with her marathon singing event called Sing-A-Thon.
Sharing the news on Instagram, she revealed the response she got from Guinness World Records.
Her goal? Singing non-stop for 117 hours, sticking to Ghanaian songs and not repeating any until after a four-hour break.
Afua’s aim is to spotlight Ghanaian music globally through this record attempt.
She’s determined to surpass the current record of 102 hours for the longest individual singing marathon.
