Jesse Abaga, popularly known as Jesse Jagz, claims he is aiming to join the select group of Nigerian musicians who have received a Grammy Award.
He declared that he would be the first to bring the renowned international prize to Jos, Plateau state.
The rapper is from Taraba, although he and his brother M.I Abaga and their friend Ice Prince were all raised in Jos.
In an interview with YouTuber Steve Bussa, the “African Bad Gyal” singer was questioned about his aspirations as an artist and the next honour he wanted to win.
Jesse Jagz claimed he is aiming for the Grammys to demonstrate to people that it is feasible to take home the top prize in the music industry.
”The Grammy is mine, I own it. I’m going to bring it to Jos. I will show them that it’s possible”, he said.
