Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, formerly known as Kiss Daniel, now ‘Kizz Daniel’, has released his much anticipated album ‘No Bad Songz’.
The 2018 much expected album is another collective work selectively done by Kizz Daniel after the release of his last debut studio album ‘New Era‘, which was released to the public on the 14th May, 2016, under his former record label G-worldwide Entertainment and when he was still with the brand name ‘Kiss Daniel’.
The ‘New Era‘ studio work had record breaking songs like ‘Woju‘, Laye, and ‘Good Times‘.
The ‘New Era’ album won THE HEADIES 2016: Album of the year and Best R&B/Pop album. This tells you that Kizz Daniel worked tirelessly on the ‘New Era’ album. For the ‘No Bad Songz’ album, Kizz Daniel did some spiritual touches with the involvement of A-listed artistes like Sarkodie, Davido, Diplo, Wretch 32, Nasty C and others.
The FlyBoy Inc. boss carefully brain picked lyrics on the album was a well thought idea. On tracks like ‘Ghetto‘, and ‘Ja‘, Kizz Daniel spelt out what he had gone through life before attaining the height in which he is in, now. He did a fine job by splitting the album across love, club and when life puts you down.
Although ‘No Bad Songz’ seems lengthy, very lengthy, with 20 tracks on the album. These days people do not really want to listen to long track albums, they just want to listen and leave but when it is becoming long, it tends to be boring to them.
Kizz Daniel would have done ‘more’ as I do not see this album as a classic project but as the usual things A-listed artistes do these days with albums, they just compose a few tracks and release to the public for listening.
‘No Bad Songz’ would have been different from the usual day-to-day albums artistes put out these days. People expected a lasting album from Kizz Daniel with the hype that was attached to his new album.
