THIS IS RACISM!! Shehu Sani Blasts Napoli Over Treatment Of Osimhen

A former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has claimed that what Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen suffered at Napoli last weekend was nothing but racism.

Osimhen was mocked by Napoli in a TikTok video posted earlier this week after he missed a penalty in the 0-0 draw at Bologna on Sunday.

Angered by the club’s action, the striker reacted by deleting all Napoli’s pictures and videos from his social media handles with his agent threatening to take legal action against the club.

The 24-year-old snubbed a number of his teammates on his arrival at the team’s hotel ahead of Napoli’s Serie A clash Udinese on Wednesday.

After their midweek game, the club’s boss, Rudi Garcia said the video was not intended to offend Osimhen.

The Serie A champions later released a statement on Thursday evening, where they claim that Victor Osimhen is a treasure to the club.

Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, said the action of the club is nothing but a clear display of racism.

“What happened to Victor Osimhen is nothing but a pure act of racism by Napoli.

“Black football players in most European clubs are only spared from racism when they play well,” he wrote on X.

Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has described Grammy-winning musician, Burna Boy as “sleazy, cheap, and very fake”.

Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, the ‘Ara’ crooner also said that Burna Boy didn’t deserve to win the Grammy for his fifth studio album, ‘Twice As Tall,’ stressing that he lacks originality and most of his songs are samples.

He also called out Wizkid and Davido describing them as “thieves” who are stealing from Fela’s afrobeat sacrifices.

Brymo said,

“I saw a video where he (Burna Boy) was saying that he was the Jesus of afrobeats. And he put Davido and Wizkid on some other mountains like that.

“I think he (Burna Boy) is sleazy, he is cheap, he is a thief. Very unoriginal. Very fake. Every of his song is a sample or a stolen slogan. Who does that? And who awards you Grammy for that?

“Afrobeats is a music style. It’s not a genre. Fela’s afrobeat is a genre. And it’s disrespectful that a new generation of musicians came and just added ‘s’. And tried to create another sets of numbers ones: ‘Wizkid is the first. Davido Burna Boy…’ No, no, no. They all are thieves.

“Do you know how much struggles Baba (Fela) went through to create afrobeat? Anyways, I think it’s a whole big problem that we have.”

Sam Larry Tried Sneaking Into Nigeria – Tonto Dike Alleges

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has alleged that popular socialite, Samson Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, aka Sam Larry, tried to sneak into the country but was apprehended at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

NAIJALOADED recalls that there have been calls for Sam Larry’s arrest over rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad’s sudden death after a video of him invading the set of a music video shoot and threatening the singer with armed men surfaced.

Sharing a five-second video of Sam Larry arriving at the airport on Thursday night, Tonto Dikeh wrote,

“Sam Larry being sneaked into Nigeria. Happening now. Welcome home, Sam Larry.”

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Sam Larry is currently in custody.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who made this known via X, said Sam Larry is “assisting” with the ongoing investigation into Mohbad’s demise.

Napoli Finally Release Statement After Osimhen Was Insulted On Tiktok (SEE)

Napoli said they “never meant to offend or mock” Victor Osimhen in a social media post but stopped short of publicly apologising to him.

The club shared a video on their TikTok account of Nigeria’s Osimhen missing a penalty, dubbed with a high-pitched voice saying “gimme penalty please”.

The 24-year-old’s agent has threatened legal action against the club.

A Napoli statement said it was “never the club’s intent to offend Victor” should he “have perceived it that way”.

The social media post has since been deleted.

“So as to avoid the topic being manipulated in any way, Napoli points out that it never meant to offend or mock Victor Osimhen, who is a technical asset of the club,” a statement on the club’s website read.

“Proof of this is the fact that the club firmly rejected all the offers it received for the attacker’s transfer abroad.”

Mohbad: “If Security Agencies Can Guarantee My Safety, I Will Be In Nigeria For Investigations”- Naira Marley

Naira Marley has said he will come back to Nigeria for the investigation being carried out into the controversial demise of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, only if the security agencies can guarantee his safety.

In an interview with Reno Omokri, Naira Marley was asked if he is willing to come back to Nigeria.

Responding, he said,

‘’100% if they can guarantee my safety. There are a lot of angry men that don’t want me there. They know the truth but they have been poisoned by the media. If they can guarantee my safety, I will be there”.

Reacting to videos of Mohbad being attacked and claims that he had a hand in the attacks, Naira Marley said

‘’There is no truth whatsoever. Even if you look at his police statement, he never mentioned Naira Marley involved. I do not have any issue whatsoever with him. I have never instructed anybody to touch him. I have never touched him. You will never see a video of me touching him. I have never sent anybody to touch him. That is just lies.”

Naira Marley acknowledged that he is indeed friends with Sam Larry but that they have never had any encountered together with Mohbad.

Naira Marley said Mohbad was paranoid all the time and that he paid for the late singer to undergo brain scans but that Mohbad refused to follow through with his treatment. He claimed that Mohbad argued that his parents are the ones that will be able to help him.

‘’I did pay for a lot of scans and he that that is what he wanted to do, get scanned and I paid for a lot of them. Like I said he is a little bit paranoid. I was trying to take it easy, trying to find out what’s wrong because remember, he had already made a video to sif anything happened to him, it’s Naira Marley. So I was just trying to find the best help for him. He did scan. I also spoke about if he can travel out to check properly. Then he said it is his mum and dad that will understand what was wrong and then his mum and dad said they wanted to take him for treatment, they want to take him to go look after him’

Naira Marley also denied claims DJ Splash was signed to his label.

‘’DJ Splash was never signed to Marlian music. He is a DJ. He has never DJ’d with me on a show. They just gave him a title because I have a picture with him. When whatever happened to him happened to him, he was not at my house.”

Rapper, Naira Marley has claimed that late musician, Mohbad, had once attempted suicide due to family issues.

Nigerians were greeted with the news of Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023.

The fast rising musician allegedly died of an ear infection in Lagos, at the age of 27.

The police have conducted a post mortem examination on his body and Nigerians now await the result.

Naira Marley and his Marlian crew are being accused of having a direct or an indirect involvement in his mysterious death.

But the singer and music maker has maintained his stance of not having a hand in Mohbad’s sudden passing.

Speaking with Reno Omokri on Wednesday, Naira Marley explained that he had a recorded conversation with Mohbad, where he was pleading with the late singer not to kill himself.

Naira Marley explained that on this particular occasion, Mohbad’s ‘girl’ had called him [Naira Marley] telling him her partner had locked himself in a room and intended to take his own life.

“There’s some other time when I was in America and his girl called me and said he locked himself in a toilet and wanted to kill himself and I called him and kind of recorded the conversation asking him ‘why do you want to kill yourself?

“If your family is stressing you out, just tell them to go.’ ‘You’re a king, chill and do whatever you wanna do. Don’t kill yourself.

“If you kill yourself now what do you want people to say? You just made a video not long ago saying if you die they should hold Naira Marley?

“He locked himself in a room and this was after he made the video that I wanted to kill him. So I was so concerned…”

Mohbad Apologised To Me, I Have Video Evidence – Naira Marley Jumps In Defense

Nigerian music artiste, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has said that late rising star, Mohbad apologised to him after making a video alleging that he [Naira Marley] was after his life.

In a viral footage, Mohbad had told the world that Naira Marley and his Malian group should be held responsible if by any means he died.

And following his mysterious death recently, accusing fingers have been directed at the Malian Record boss.

However, in an interview with Reno Omokri, Naira Marley said he met the young musician after he made the video and has evidence of his apology to him.

“Till today I don’t understand. I tried to get him help when he went out like that. I wasn’t even in the country when he made that video,” Naira Marley said.

“I was out of the country. I’m sure it was during the NDLEA [arrest that he made the video]. Looking at the video again, I was getting information from everybody that was there because like I said, I wasn’t in the country.

“I kind of sent someone to the NDLEA before I got back. When I got back the next day, they said Mohbad was not there. They said Mohbad wasn’t among the people arrested.

“I didn’t bail Mohbad out anyway. It’s only Zino. So it was that paranoia…Zino was still in the NDLEA when he [Mohbad] made that video. I wasn’t around.

“I was outside Nigeria when he made that video saying if he dies they should hold Naira Marley and the Malians. So when I got back I asked him. When I got back, I met him.

“I spoke to trying to find out what was wrong but he said he didn’t understand and apologised. Yes. He apologised. I have a video on that.”

Osimhen Shuts Critics Up With Goal As Napoli Beat Udinese

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen scored as Napoli beat Udinese 4-1 in the first game since he was mocked by the club on social media platform.

Osimhen scored his side’s second goal, but refused to celebrate before he was mobbed by his team-mates.

However, Osimhen’s agent vowed to take legal action against the club.

The Serie A champions opened the scoring when Piotr Zielinski converted from the penalty spot after referee Gianluca Manganiello was sent to the screen by video assistant referee following a foul on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Osimhen then received a pass from Matteo Politano and slotted past Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri six minutes before half-time.

Kvaratskhelia hit the post twice early in the second half before pouncing on an error from Jaka Bijol to race clear, dink the ball over Silvestri and roll it home to end a run of 17 games without a goal.

A fine solo effort from Lazar Samardzic got one back for Udinese with 10 minutes remaining but just a minute later Giovanni Simeone, on to replace Osimhen, restored Napoli’s three-goal advantage.

The win moves fifth-placed Napoli to within four points of leaders Inter Milan.
