Nigerian Grammy award winning megastar, Burna Boy is set to drop a short film titled “whiskey” that will focus on the lives of those in his community.
Ed Sheeran, J. Balvin, Popcaan, J. Hus, Khalid, Kehlani, Blxst, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Victony are among the artists that appear on Burna Boy‘s recently released album “Love, Damini,” a silky-smooth combination of Afrobeats, dancehall, and R&B with 19 tracks.
The artist has plans to release the music video for one of the album’s tracks, “Whiskey,” which is a tune that describes the lives of the bulk of his Port-Harcourt supporters.
Burna Boy chose to produce a mini-documentary as the song’s accompanying video to keep with the song’s premise of illustrating the appalling living conditions of people in his hometown of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.
On Thursday, December 8, 2022, he announced on Instagram that the documentary would be released.
