Throwback!! Is “Lyrically” Lil Kesh’s Best Song Of All Time?

“Shoki” was what made Lil Kesh a star, but it wasn’t until “Lyrically” that everyone got to know just how fire this guy is.

Let’s be clear on one thing. While Lil Kesh has had some lows over the course of his seven-year career, the nigga is fire and he’s just as good a rapper as anyone you can name.

When he got signed to YBNL Nation in 2014, he was poised to be the next big thing in the music industry after Olamide. A couple of hits in, and Lil Kesh already had the industry on lockdown.

Two years down the line, he released his debut album, “Young And Getting It,” one of the best rap debuts we’ve ever heard. Probably even better than Olamide‘s “Rapsodi.”

Lil Kesh has done a lot truly and although his career didn’t turn out to be as iconic as Olamide‘s, Kesh has done things many other rappers can only dream of. Hits, videos, battles, collaborations, everything.

But still, the highlight of Lil Kesh‘s career is not the street bangers (“Efejoku“) or the love numbers (“Is It Because I Love You“), or the high-profile collabos (“Yaya Yoyo“) or the hits he made later on (“No Fake Love“). Nah.

The highlight of his whole career is the time he could go into the booth and drop three minutes straight fire. He never got to make a rap song better than “Lyrically.” It doesn’t look like he’s going to ever top that honestly.
