Plantashun Boiz

Plantashun Boiz were a Nigerian hiphop and R&B music group. It consisted of 2face Idibia, Faze and Blackface. The group was formed during their college years in Enugu, at the Institute Of Management And Technology, Eastern Nigeria.

The group however split up after the exit of 2 Face who wanted a solo career on the platform of Kennis Music at the time, this didn’t go down well with the other members of the group but they moved on and each released their individual single albums first with 2 Face and then Blackface followed by Faze.

Last week Sunday, the band reunited at ‘A night of tribute’ organised in honour of the late ‘Jagbajantis crooner’, Sound Sultan.

The long-term beef ended as Baba Dee, the deceased elder brother reminded the Plantashun Boiz of how they all started.

They put aside their differences and performed one of their hit songs in the memorial concert of late Sound Sultan.

This act left the audience alive and at home in an utter frenzy as it was a moment they all had craved to see someday.

Laycon & Erica

Big Brother Naija season five ex-housemates, Erica Nlewedim and Laycon, have settled their dispute, erupting mixed reactions from their fans.

On their Instagram stories, both reality TV stars shared videos of themselves together, hanging out and obviously having fun.

The caption for the videos read,“We are good,” as a sign of settlement between both parties.

It would be recalled that Erica and Laycon started off as close buddies during the BBNaija lockdown edition.

Along the line, they had a fall out and had since been seen as enemies of one another.

The enmity spread to their fans, Elites (Erica’s fans) and Icons (Laycon’s fans), who use every opportunity to engage in verbal wars on social media.

Jay Z & Kanye West

Kanye West fans were delighted by the appearance of his former mentor Jay-Z on a track from his new album Donda, as the duo appear to have buried their feud.

The surprise feature was unveiled during West’s listening party at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, where West played the forthcoming album in its entirety to more than 40,000 fans.

Rumours that the pair had fallen out first emerged in 2014, when Jay-Z and his partner Beyonce did not attend Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s highly publicised wedding.

In the ensuing years, they took several swipes at one another, including when West appeared to criticise Jay-Z for not checking in on his family after Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, in 2016.

But right now, they’re good!
