Sincerely, I just pictured why Wizkid rubbished Reeky Baby for tagging him on this dead on arrival song, “Omo Olomo”.
Why will someone release a low-quality song that featured me at the period I postponed my album release. I will be angry If I was in Wizkid’s shoes too.
See Wizkid’s Tweet When Reekado Banks Dropped The Song
Reekado Banks knew the song is actually the worst in his career so far but he couldn’t throw it in the trash-can because a whole Starboy Wizkid is on it.
Just because Wizkid postponed his album release in the midst of EndSARS protest, Reekado Banks went to drop the below-par song to take advantage of the moment.
Wizkid won’t take the matter up to this if the only issue he had with him is just distracting the ENDSARS movement, it’s glaring Wizkid knew the song is of low-standard as well.
In case you’ve not listened to the song, see below
MY THOUGHTS ON THE SONG
Listening to the song, I thought it would have worth the worth of the negative hype that came after Wizkid tweet if it was sweet. It’s rather sour despite having a Top A artiste on it.
Could it be the dimension of the beat or what is actually not right in the song?
I observed the lazy work in this project, just one verse was recorded by Reekado and the rest was just repeating Chorus and a little beat of Afrobeat (drums and sax).
Dear Reeky, you should have dropped this stuff in the bin as Wizkid initially advised.
Overall, the song should be rated 3/10 ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Guys, we would love to hear from you
