Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 2020 star, Rebecca “Nengi” Hampson, has spoken out against the deadly violence and corruption linked to Special anti-robbery squad (SARS).
SARS has been blamed for killing, extortion, robbing and blackmailing of innocent Nigerian citizen across various parts of the country.
In a recent video sighted by us, Nengi spoke against the killings, while also sending her heartfelt condolences with those who have lost their loved ones to the force.
Deputy President of the Senate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, recently expressed dismay over the alleged atrocious activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Police in Delta.
Omo-Agege gave the expression in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yomi Odunuga in Abuja on Sunday.
He expressed concern over the alleged incessant cases of extrajudicial killings and harassment of defenseless citizens by men of SARS.
He also expressed worry that some officials attached to SARS in different parts of Nigeria were harassing defenseless citizens.
