Controversial social media activist, Martins Vincent Ose better known as VeryDarkman has reportedly been released from police custody after being arrested and detained over the weekend.
The media commentator who regained his freedom on Sunday night shared a video on his Instagram page, detailing what led to his arrest.
VeryDarkman revealed that police officers invaded his house on Sunday to arrest him, after receiving a complaint of him allegedly defaming a man who defrauded someone of all his life savings.
According to him, on getting to the station, he wrote a statement as regards his allegations that the unnamed man was involved in a scam, and provided evidence to back up his claim.
He said he got released because he had the help of a renowned lawyer and also reached out to notable men in the society who ensured that he was granted bail and was detained overnight.
VeryDarkMan added that he cannot stop seeking justice for people because he is now in too deep, and it is so unfortunate that he will keep getting arrested.
