YouTube has removed the channel of the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua.
The action was taken after more than 50 abusive videos, identified by OpenDemocracy, were reported for amplifying abuse against Joshua’s accusers on the platform.
This move follows a recent three-part documentary by BBC World Service and OpenDemocracy, in which whistleblowers made allegations of sexual and psychological abuse, financial fraud, and criminal negligence against Joshua.
The flagged channel, originally featuring videos filmed by the church’s Emmanuel TV media department, violated YouTube’s policies against cyberbullying, harassment, and hate speech.
This marks the second suspension of the late Prophet TB Joshua’s church’s YouTube channel in three years due to breaches of the platform’s policies.
