[Music] Shayo – Buss My Medula

Shayó is a musical Prodigy who has entered the music industry this year with a new kind of sound.

He harbors the label #NoGenre because he not only makes Afrobeats but also Alte, Soul, RnB, and Rap. Born in London, but residing in Houston, Texas, the Yoruba artist says he will break all barriers between genres.

He has deep roots in music, with a deep understanding of the piano, harmony, and culture. Growing up, his mother was a choir leader, forcing him to be around music his whole life. Living in London, then Nigeria, and now America, he draws influence from the sounds he idolized from his environments growing up.

He has connected with the well-known Afrobeat sound Engineer Spyrytmyx who has worked with the likes of Davido, Naira Marley, and BadboyTimz. His first ever single “Buss my Medulla” is a melodic masterpiece with vocals of the likes of Wande Coal.

For the other song he dropped together with BMS “Hold On Me” he worked with Engineer Nicholas Essig, known for his work with Justin Timberlake, and Justin Bieber.

Still independent, It will be exciting to see what more Shayo has in store for the future, as he has an upcoming Afrobeat project with Engineer Spyrytmyx, and producer Jaemally. Shayó has just started but it seems the future is bright for this young man.
