Earlier this year, Davido‘s name was on everybody’s lips and it wasn’t for a good reason at all. but it still baffles me how one can turn so disappointment to a mega blessing.
We can all recall, how the sensational music star, Davido drops a wacko-Jacko freestyle on the radio during is USA media tour, how he was heavily slammed for it, and how many tagged him “Talentless” as the video went viral.
However, the way everything turns around for good in some months and how the disappointment of then turn around to become “Risky” the mega jam of now is just something that can place someone in a heavenly aura.
After many failed attempts of coming up with a challenge to quickly make the whole negative publicity the “Wack Freestyle” is bringing to his brand fade away, he eventually got something bigger out of it with the help of “SpeeroachBeatz” and the Jamaican singer “Popcaan“.
Davido‘s has foreseen the wide acceptability of the song even before it drops, thus making a prophecy on twitter about how we all going to dance to something we mocked him for.

Davido‘s new song “Risky” is a tune that surely cuts the mustard in all ways, looking for a way to review this song badly? I am sorry you won’t be finding any, cause there’s virtually none.
Kudos to the Jamaican singer, Popcaan on the song, but its necessary to say even without Popcaan’s contribution to the song, “Risky” will still come out as sparkling as it did, cause Davido single-handedly finish work on the song.

The deployment of Speeroach Beatz was like the best thing that could have happened to that song, well other Producer might have done wondrous stuff with the song too, but with Speeroach groovy beat, it gave it that Party-starting touch it needed to sync into many music lovers heart at first hearing.
Talking about the whole lyricism and cadence of that song, then it’s safe to say no song released in Nigeria this year can hold a candle beside “Risky“. Even though many think, Davido didn’t write the song himself. But when does having a songwriter becomes a crime in musicology.
Overall examinations of the song “Risky” have left us with no doubt and certainty that the song is an inch-perfect, just as Davido has hyped before the release, and it boosts our anticipation of the “A Good Time” album coming soon too.
Hence, with the level of perfection the song has and the general acceptance of the song within a short time, can we say it to be the “Biggest Song In Africa” currently?
