Idowest, Yonda, Or Dremo?? Who Do You Think Is Davido’s Worst Musical Signing?

Davido’s led record label DMW is mostly seen by a lot of artistes as a dream label because of their wide outreach, relevance, and talents in the label.

The African’s Super Star and DMW Boss King Davido is one of the most consistent and hard-working artists Nigeria has been blessed with despite the wealth background the artist was discovered from.

There is no doubt Davido have helped countless artistes of getting a shy rocketed career come through. The likes of Runtown, Humblesmith, Mc Galaxy, Tekno and Co had to stay under his umbrella to get their desired attention.

But, however, he seems to be under some heavy critics these days after his exemption from Beyonce’s “Lion King” album.

Many doubt his talent and question his relevance, lots of questions were asked and one of the most interesting part of it is how Davido failed to have more positive impacts on the musical careers of most of his artistes.

Most of them might have felt too comfortable in the label because they might have access to as much outreach as their boss because of his flexibility, and simplicity.

However, Mayorkun, and Peruzzi seems to be an the most relevant of the whole artistes in the label. Leaving the rest to make the question of who the 3rd best signing of Davido is. We obviously have doubts about the answers, which automatically means the rest are all in the same category (bad investments).

Idowest seems to be one of the best and if not the best during his Shaku Shaku days in the street then (I guess that was what got David’s attention). He has failed woefully after signing to DMW. His much awaited EP failed to prove his worth despite taking almost 8 months before releasing it

Yonda got Davido’s attention during the DMW’s joint tracks days. Tracks like ‘Aje‘, ‘Mind‘, and Co. His impacts in those tracks are quit convincing enough to everyone but guess what? Yonda is nowhere to be found after getting his desired contract.

Dremo seems like one of the foundations of DMW, His growth is one that can never defined in any form. He has neither grown nor crumbled under Davido. He has never reflected to the growth surrounding him despite having the best attention of Davido then. Is Mayorkun’s growth not enough motivation for him?

So Guys, the question here is
