Mayorkun recently releases his first official single of the year dubbed “True” alongside Flyboi Inc boss, Kizz Daniel, and the song is virtually everywhere now.
“I want hmmm on your face” which happens to be one of the most quotable lyrical line in the melodic synergistic tune of the two members of The No Bad Songz brigade.

Since last year after the DMW heir apparent, Mayorkun has galvanized us with his highly rated and well streamed debut album titled “The Mayor Of Lagos” the singer tries to meet the high bar he set for himself in the music industry with this new song “True“.
Does he meet it? 
Everyone who has paid great attention to the Nigerian music industry this decade or even just a bit of attention, will have likely had some piece of their brain melted away, then replaced by some Mayorkun’s songs. The Boy is just unapologetically amazing!

The emotion-esque song “True” find Mayorkun and Kizz Daniel being head over heel (In Love) with an anonymous girl, making several confessions about how they’re committed to their lovers, trying to convince them that all that the girl heard from the naysayers are all untrue.
The best thing that happened to that song was the contagious and frisky production brought to light by the wicked producer, Young Jonn. Oga Patapata!
Mayorkun or his team deserve a grand accolades for getting Young Jonn on this, someone probably hinted them that Young Jonn is the main recipe of hit songs for Kizz Daniel recently, using Fvck You as a major sample.
“True” is definitely a jam for days! and Invariably the best collaborations out of the Nigerian music scene so far this year. Better the Larry Gaaga’s & Wizkid “Low”? Yes better than it, coman beat me.
