Every music has a lesson aligned with it. Learning one or two lessons is virtually the bedrock of many music, movie, and novels that are being pushed out to a large audience.
Perhaps, we’re just too absentminded to many dogmas and gospel these artistes preach on every song. What’s all in our head is to Zanku and Gbe Body, however, we can still do both (Learn and Dance).
We’re all guilty of terming many credo lyrics of these prodigy acts as “Lambas” anytime they hit our innermost sense and then instead of taking out time to comprehend the message in it, all we do is to chant “Hmm! that one enter” “O Deep“, “O’Poor” amidst others form of appraising good lyrical coining.
Some popular songs that have a robust lesson in their lyrics are; In “Killin Dem” by Zlatan & Burna Boy, where Zlatan preach the word “You are not Ayefele, so what’s your excuse“. A highly dogmatic lyrics, I must commend.
All Zlatan is trying to say is that, since you’re capable, then get busy, Get Up and Hustle! cause you have no shrug off for being broke.
“Love Is Sweet O, But when Money enter Love is sweeter” – a line from “Assurance” by Davido. This beautiful lyric shows the undissolved interpolation between Love and Riches.
Women Love Money we all know! If you want to get the best out of any lady then you need money, not all ladies though but most of them.
“Many of these artists don’t even follow what preach, they only do it for clout” – said by someone I asked this very question today, but does that really matter. Just learn, don’t mind where it’s coming from.
