Isaac Oyedepo, Bishop David Oyedepo’s son, talked about beating his struggle with pornography on Pastor Leke Adeboye’s podcast.

He shared how it started during a solo trip when he saw it on TV but managed to stop with God’s help.

Isaac stressed that many, even pastors and church members, face similar battles and urged for open conversations.

He also pointed out that just being anointed or seeing miracles doesn’t mean someone has strong spiritual integrity.

In his words;

“My confessions are good ones that will help people. I struggled with pornography before.”

“I remembered how it started, we travelled to one country and I was meant to be in the room alone, I switched on the TV and that’s it.”

“But God brought me out of it very quickly. A lot of people still struggle with it and I think of somebody who had struggled with it and had walked up to me and told me how to come out, I would have come out quickly.”

“I think people feel there are things we shouldn’t talk about, but today there are some pastors and church members still struggling with it.”

“You may be anointed, seeing signs and wonders but it does not mean you are standing right.”

“There is this old saying that if it’s working it means you are standing right but I found out that it’s not always the case. There are times I found out I wasn’t right, but grace and mercy found me.”

“For the sake of someone who is genuine in the congregation, God can bypass you to meet the person; this is my confession.”

Why I Won’t Reconcile With Basket Mouth – Ex-wife, Elsie Okpocha

 

Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of popular comedian Bright Okpocha better known as Basketmouth, has said she has no plans of getting back together with him.

The businesswoman took to her Instagram issue a response to those advising her to reconcile with her ex-husband.

Elsie said she has no plans of going back to her ex-husband, and noted that no woman will intentionally leave her marital home unless after exhausting all efforts to make the relationship work.

She urge the public to mind their business because nobody knows what happened in her marriage.

In her words:

“I don’t know why a woman would post a picture or video of her living her life and you go under the comment section and see comments like, ‘go back to your husband’s house; I know you’re not happy; You’re just pretending.’

“Why would you think a woman would wake up and leave her marriage just like that? It doesn’t work that way; both parties would’ve tried to work it out and at the point where it is not working out, they go their separate ways.

Plus, it’s not your business to start with; why is it a problem that a woman decides to move on with her life? How about telling the man involved to go back to his wife’s house?”

REALLY!! I Cried When Olamide Left My Label – ID Cabasa

 

Veteran music executive, ID Cabasa, has revealed how emotional he was when superstar rapper, Olamide left his record label.

In an interview with Adesope Olajide on Afrobeats Podcast, the music producer recounted the circumstances surrounding Olamide’s exit from his label.

ID Cabasa said he met the ‘Furst Of All’ hitmaker when he was just 13 years old as he had come to his studio with a friend, wanting to record a song.

He said the friend was not impressive but when Olamide jumped on the mic, he dropped 16 bars, and that ‘changed everything’.

Olamide left Coded Tunes in 2012 and launched his record label, YBNL Nation which has produced superstars such as Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh and currently houses Asake, Fireboy DML as it’s leading act.

In his words:

“Olamide was 13 years old when I met him. He came to my studio with a friend who wanted to feature him on a song. His friend was not good musically. Olamide was quiet and unassuming. I gave him a beat, and he did 16 bars that changed everything. Olamide became more like a son to me.

“When he was about to leave my record label, we sat down to discuss it. It was painful to me. It wasn’t the pain of not wanting him to progress; it was the pain of seeing someone you love leave. I cried.

“I said, ‘Olamide, you should’ve waited o!’ He said, ‘Bros, I want to do something, and I’m sure, by your code, we might not be able to do some of them.’ We didn’t have a fight. I gave him my full blessings.”
