The Labour Party’s Peter Obi, who is running for president, was caught on camera joking around with Omoyele Sowore, another candidate from the African Action Congress.
On Wednesday in Abuja, the candidates for president attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) conference.
Despite the fact that Sowore regularly criticises him on social media, Obi approached him to say hello.
A video making the rounds online shows him greeting the SaharaReporters publisher by way of handshake and hugs at the venue of the event.
