The song has been gathering millions of streams across all platforms since it was released on February 12th, 2021.

What We Think About The Song
When the pre-release hype around the song was on and becoming too heavy, it began to seem like the whole hype was to force a not-so-good song on Nigerian music lovers.
On the release of the song, it can be deduced the whole pre-release hype was a confident move to ensure that a pretty good love song penetrates as much as it should especially this season of love.
Teni never disappoints when it comes to a love song like this and of course her decision to feature Davido was actually a very smart one.
Both artistes were able to compliment each other so well because of their past working relationship. Teni wrote “Like Dat” for Davido and they must have worked together in the recording session of that song.
Except for the part where he was trying to go on high-key with his voice, Davido made the song sound nicer.
It is however important to state that, the song would still be sweet without Davido on it but the promotional value of having the DMW boss on a song is good for Teni.
