Don’t be too quick to write this content off yours to read list, because you might probably be thinking who’s this new artiste you’re comparing with an already establish artiste like Patoranking.
The truth is if there’s no basis of comparison, Naijaloaded will never think of it. We know Bawizo to be a very hardworking up & rising artiste that the whole Industry will still feel his wave pretty soon.
We’re associating Bawizo’s debut album “Other Side of Bawizo” with Patoranking’s “Wilmer” album cause they both satisfy almost if not all metrics that a good and respectable album should satisfy before they can be considered.
There are numerous albums in town now that are at the moment making waves online and jamboree-ing loads of streams and airplay domestically.
But then we streamlined all these albums to just two albums that can challenge for the best and most Iconic album out this year so far. And we arrived at Bawizo’s “Other Side of Bawizo” and Patoranking’s “Wilmer” album.
Bawizo born Omoriede Ronald, who hails from Edo state, was Malaysian University Graduate cum Sound Engineer, and then metamorphose to one of Nigerians most reckoned with and Talented New act in the Industry right now.
The Bawizo Entertainment, frontlining acts, and CEO, Bawizo releases his debut album on May 18th, 2019, to cement his perfect music run after the release of No Poverty that breaks boundaries and also set a well-concreted platform for him as a rookie act, in the heart of already garnered fans.
“Other Side of Bawizo” is an 8 tracks album packed with a lot of hit songs ranging from “No Poverty”, “Nobody”, “Everyday”, “Living Life” alongside DMW act, Yonda, and some other worthy of listening tracks.
6 days after Bawizo took the intrepid and dauntless step to drop his debut album “Other Side of Bawizo” then Patoranking goes ahead to drop his highly anticipated and the long-awaited sophomore album “Wilmer”. Why Is Patoranking Rushing? That’s the question that struck my head when I realized Wilmer is out.

Probably the Reggae singer, Patoranking envisaged that a budding star, Bawizo’s album might be captivating all accolades, and attention on the musical scene for the best Album in circulation, since albums from buddies, like Runtown, Idowest, Timaya album wasn’t performing so well too. So only Bawizo’s album posed a threat to the International artiste packed Album of Patoranking.
Even despite having highly rated artiste on the Album as a contributor, e.g Davido, Donae’o, and lots of International acts. Nonetheless, Bawizo’s album “Other Side of Bawizo” still stands tall to Patoranking’s “Wilmer” album and compete for streams, and also Street acceptability.
Without too much tautness on which Album Is more Iconic, and can stand the test of time like albums like 2Baba’s Face 2 Face album, 9ice’s Gongo Aso Album, it’s important to note that Bawizo put in much work on the successful completion of this project and as such we should support Raw talents and get acquainted with his Album.

Patoranking’s Album has the number, the top artists featured on it, the hype, perhaps Bawizo’s album also satisfies this metrics, only that it doesn’t have the opportunity to get stars featured on it but then it has a lot of street acceptance and in the Industry of today, Street Credibility speaks more.
