TG Omori has finally succumbed to pressure after getting called out severally by street artist, Portable over a music video shoot.
We earlier reported that Portable created a scene on social media after he was billed $50,000 by Omori to shoot.
Boy director replied, indicating that Portbale was well aware of his actions. He implied that the singer was only trying to use a strategy earlier employed by Blaqbonez.
Nonetheless, Portable did not fail to keep calling out TG Omori, he shared a couple of videos on his official social media page to this effect.
After several online harassments, TG Omori finally asked Portable to send his song to him. He, however, noted that he was not mad at Portable and that he completely understood his plight.
The graduating student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, Ogechi Okoroafor, who went viral for saying that she graduated with the help of God and her private part, has apologized to the institution and said she made a mistake while making a comment after her graduation.
Okoroafor went viral when she said she passed out from the school with the help of God and her pu$$y, a slang for the female private part.
In a letter to the institution written by her lawyer, Ikechukwu Nwaopara, Ms. Okoroafor said she suffered a slip of the tongue as she wanted to say her father and God helped her to graduate from the Polytechnic.
The letter reads
“We are solicitors to OKEREAFOR OGECHI SHARON, our Client under our Pro Bono (Free Legal Services) on whose behalf we write this memo to you.
We are aware that she will be facing the school disciplinary panel this morning and we wish to use this medium to express our confidence that the panel will carry out their duties in compliance with the principles of fair hearing, good conscience and natural justice devoid of harassment, intimidation and threats.
We have met and discussed with our Client and evidence before us shows that she has no intention to defame the character, standard and integrity of the institution. In her words, what happened in the said viral video was a slip of tongue as a result of her uncontrollable ecstasy over her graduation. Her intended words were ‘God and Pupsy’ (Not P*ssy) in appreciation of the almighty God and her Dad. It is clear, therefore, that she had no intention whatsoever to use such a ‘foul word’ in the said viral video to cajole or blackmail the institution as no lecturer or name of the institution was mentioned or referred to in the said viral video.
Our lawyers are already on the ground at the institution now to follow up the proceedings at the panel against any form of intimidation or harassment.”
Nigerian musician, Habeeb ‘Portable’ Okikiola, has accused Afrobeats sensation, Seyi Vibez, of copying his colleague, Asake’s music style.Portable claims that Seyi has adopted Asake’s pattern entirely and is now using it to cash out.
The singer berated Seyi for not having his own style and advised him to change his pattern and be unique.
According to Portable, the director of Seyi’s music videos, TG Omori, switched from shooting visuals for Asake because Seyi is now the new buzzing artist in the country. Portable accused Omori of not having any love in the industry and claimed that people like to attach themselves to Asake because of his special pattern.
In a video posted on his Instagram story, Portable called out Seyi and Omori, stating that there is no love in the industry, which is why it was so easy for the switch to take place. Portable advised Seyi to create his own style and not just copy others.
