Lagos Deputy Gov’s Son Did Not Attend ‘Obidients’ Rally, Impersonator Will Be Arrested Soon – Aide

As Hamzat orders arrest, prosecution of impersonator.

The viral video making the rounds on the social media showing an individual captioned, “The Lagos State Deputy Governor’s son Femi Hamzat, joins the obidient rally in support of Peter Obi,” in Lagos on Saturday, has been described as a false.

Meanwhile, security agents have been instructed to fish out the impersonator and for possible prosecution in the court to defend his claims of being the son of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, or otherwise.

Mr. Tunde Alao, the Media Aide to Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Femi Hamzat, made the rebuttal in a statement released on Sunday.

The statement read in part:

“The attention of the Media Unit of the Office of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State has been drawn to an online picture of an individual captioned, “The Lagos State Deputy Governor’s son Femi Hamzat, joins the obidient rally in support of Peter Obi” which has gone viral on the social media.

“For the avoidance of doubt, the gentleman in the displayed photograph is neither the Deputy Governor’s son nor his relative.

“The viral message is another mischievous, false and malicious attempt to cause friction between the Deputy Governor and his admirers and loyalists across the Nation.

“Dr. Hamzat has a reputation of commitment and loyalty to the Sanwo-Olu administration and the All Progressives Congress.

“Any attempt to denigrate his character by spewing falsehood about his family will remain a vain and futile attempt until eternity.

“Supporters of the Labour Party should get serious with their campaigns and desist from cheap tactics that would not yield any political gains.

“Meantime, security agents have been instructed to fish out the impersonator and for possible prosecution in the court to defend his claims of being the son of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, or otherwise.”

Nobody Is Totally Well – Umahi Replies Those Saying That Tinubu Is Not Healthy

Concerns about Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, have been addressed by the governor of Ebonyi state, David Umahi.

Today, October 3, Umahi said during a question-and-answer session on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily that those who claim that Tinubu is unwell are being petty.

He also said that Tinubu’s workout video which is trending online, was taken without his knowledge.

Umahi said:-

“Nobody is totally well, and nobody is totally sick; this is one point. Another point is that Nigerians are petty; some of us are petty.

“A man doing his workout, you know, is being videoed and circulated on social media without his knowledge.

“And so, a man that has life does not need to show any proof of life. Asiwaju has life, and he doesn’t need to show any proof of life, and you can see that.

“I think we should concentrate on tangibles because life is like being on the bus, and you don’t know where the next bus stop is.

“Some of the people talking about the health of the leaders of the country don’t even know when their bus stop is coming. So, we should rely on tangibles. Every life and health rests in the hand of God; that is how I look at it.”

Nobody Is Totally Well, Stop Being Petty – Governor Umahi To Nigerians

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has said that Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has life does not need to show any proof of life to anyone.

He disclosed this early morning today while fielding questions on the Channels TV Morning Rise Program.

Recall that there have been speculations that the APC’s candidate may be battling some health crisis following his absence at the recent signing of a peace accord agreement by presidential candidates of political parties.

Reports later emerged on Thursday that he is currently in London, United Kingdom.

However, Tinubu has also shared a video of himself working on a fitness bike to prove that he’s strong and healthy.

However, he failed to state why he was absent.

Reacting to the speculations, Governor Umahi stated that people asking about the health of the country’s leaders, including that of his party’s candidate, are being petty.

“Nobody is totally well, and nobody is totally sick; this is one point. Another point is that Nigerians are petty; some of us are petty.

“A man doing his walk-out, you know, is being videoed and circulated on social media without his knowledge.

“And so, a man that has life does not need to show any proof of life. Asiwaju has life, and he doesn’t need to show any proof of life, and you can see that.

BBNaija Stars, Khafi, Gedoni Expecting Second Child

Khafi Kareem and Gedoni Ekpata, reality TV stars and former Big Brother housemates, have announced that they are expecting their second child.

The Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality-show couple, who fell in love and later got married, welcomed a boy as their first child in August 2021.

In a video that surfaced online, the former British Metropolitan Police officer could be seen showing off her growing baby belly while dressed in an Orange outfit.

Khafi announced the good news on her Instagram page hours ago. The soon to be mum of two revealed that they are on a 9 month special assignment which requires all of their attention and focus.

“It is no news we have been MIA online most of this year guys, we’re on a 9 month special assignment which requires all of our attention and focus!!! We’re so glad to say, He did it again”.

LOL!! Popular Nollywood Actress Shares Her Nude Video Online While Sending To Singer Skiibii

Popular Nollywood actress and disc jockey, Dorcas Fapson, also known as DFS has reacted following the aftermath of her nude which she accidentally shared online.

DFS mistakenly uploaded the video she was sending to her alleged lover, singer Skiibii on her Snapchat story.

The actress was responding to Skiibii’s message about ‘highness and ballon’ when she sent the video on her social media page.

As expected, many Nigerians took screen-recording before she could take down the video and she was ridiculed online.

Following the backlash that ensued, the actress offered an explanation, stating that she was getting a wax and was sending the streak to Skiibii when she accidentally uploaded it on her Snapchat story.

She wrote: “Guys please I was getting a wax and I sent a streak to him that I accidentally posted to my story. I need the ground to swallow me up rn… byeee.”

Yesterday, one of the 2023 presidential candidates, Bola Tinubu, posted this on Twitter, to prove to Nigerians that he’s very much alive.

MY OBSERVATIONS/OPINION:-

There are so many red flag on this tweet.

“Many have said I have died” sounds like an affirmation to the rumour. Even though I can’t recall or seen any recent news with the headline “Tinubu Is Dead” or a tweet.

The only recent rumour was that he’s on Catheter. Nobody said Tinubu is dead.

Secondly, Tinubu have not and cannot use the word “Nope“. Sounds strange and fishy.

Thirdly, the “Well…” is suspicious. The 3 dots are signal that something has been omitted.

If he really have to publicly release a video of himself working out to prove his strength and health, then something is definitely not right. Why try so hard?

Last but not least, “I am strong, I am healthy and I am ready to serve Nigerians” sounds funny to me. A strong and healthy man cannot be absent from two important events, sending his running mate as rep.

I wish him quick recovery.

Ahmed Ololade professionally known as Asake is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, he was born in the late 1990s.

Asake’s stage name pays homage to his mother, whose first name is Asake, apparently, he has so much love for his mother.

Asake had been making music since he was in University, He studied Theatre and Performing Arts at the great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun state.

Asake’s musical career stepped forward after he released “Mr Money” in 2020 followed by remix with Zlatan and Peruzzi, “Mr Money” and “Lady” got some attention but not to the mainstream extent.

Asake continued to release more singles including “Medusa” and “Yan Yan” before he was signed to YBNL in February 2022.

Asake shot to fame after releasing his hit single “Omo Ope” in January 2022 featuring Olamide and since the hit, Asake never missed.

In February 2022, Asake released his debut extended play “Ololade Asake”, which featured Asake‘s breakthrough song “Omo Ope” Another hit-single which was released off the extended play was “Sungba” which was remixed a month later with Burna Boy.

Asake is signed to YBNL NATION and Empire Distribution.

“Asake” is now a stage name across the board but he was formerly known as MEDOO and he released a song titled JOO HAA under that stage name while he was at the university.

Also, the song JOHA is on the track list of his recently released debut album MMWTV.

In quest for fame, Asake engaged with the famous Nigerian comedian, Broda Shaggi which made him feature in some of his skits, he was also a backup singer for Broda Shaggi back then.

Asake often uses uptempo Afro and Amapiano styled production, There are elements of Fuji in his songs.

Another interesting fact you might not know about Asake is that he was a dancer before venturing into music and a big admirer of Wizkid.

In one of his posts on his old twitter account, “Medoo” was full of praises for Wizkid, aside that there was a video that surfaced online recently where the singer is seen praising Wizkid.

According to Asake, he had been texting Olamide since 2020, but he didn’t get a reply from him until he released “Omo Ope” and finally Olamide reached out to him via a phone call and demanded that they meet and when he arrived, Baddo simply asked if he would like to join the family and that was how he joined the YBNL family.

After the release of his debut album “MMWTV” Asake have been making history in the music industry, the album has been topping different country’s music charts since its release, also MMWTV is the first afrobeats debut album to debut on UK official album chart.

Sequel to his UK tour, Asake has sold out the 02 Academy 5000 capacity three times which makes him the first afrobeat star to do three dates at the 5000 capacity Brixton academy back to back.

Asake is no doubt a global artiste already.
